Business Audit
Business Audit
Before I make any new plans or goals I assess where I currently am in business. I usually put aside 1-2 hours and look back at what has happened over the last quarter or year. After 5 years in business, I have found that I am either super excited and energised by a project or deep in the nitty gritty of the tiniest details, that it is easy to lose site of the bigger picture.
In business, no matter what size you are, there will be highs and lows, wins and losses. You will usually remember the major events of highs and lows but it is often in the details that you will find some major wins/losses. Whilst business coaching, I have noticed that often the leakages in business aren’t major. They are the small costs, of time or money, which have added up over the course of the year. You will also find that something that you thought were really important, actually didn’t create the results that you were expecting and are therefore not important for the following year.
You can revisit this audit every year to analyse the numbers and make smart changes.
If you don’t have a business yet, this will help you assess who you are as a person, which will help you make the smartest decisions for your business.
